Things to do

It's time to start your adventures back in time

Go back to 1565 where it all began in St Augustine Florida.

Villa Zorayda is  museum housing an extensive antique collection Egyptian antiquities, oriental rugs and antique furnishings.  The architecture stems from the Moorish Castle the Alhambra Palace in Granada Spain.  Franklin W. Smith was the original owner of this home who also had built the Casa Monica Hotel, which is now part of the Marriott collection.

Flagler College, formerly known as the Ponce de Leon Hotel, was erected between 1885 and 1887 by Henry M. Flagler.  The building and architecture represents the Spanish Renaissance style throughout with custom imported marble carvings, Stained glass designed by Louis Tiffany of New York and murals painted by Tojetti and George Maynard.  The Ponce de Leon Hotel was the flagship of the Flagler Hotel collection which extended along the east coast of Florida.  In 1966 this historic hotel was converted into Flagler College.
